A delightful ground between the main road and the church at Brown Candover versus The Candovers Cricket Club. Carefully cared for by amongst others ex-Hampshire wicket keeper Booby Parks (My only first class wicket. Caught off my bad ball by Ian Bainbridge in the deep). I have cycled past the ground several times this winter and watched it recover to a great condition for Cheriton Cricket Club’s first Sunday game. The Candover valley floods did not get on to the wicket and they have covers!
